Carolina Herrera is a well known fashion designer from Venezuela and New York City. In her fashion career she made her start working for various fashion houses such as Cristobal Balenciaga, Lanvin and finally designing herself at the House of Herrera. Carolina then started venturing into other fields, first creating an eponymous line of fragrances in 1988. This included the very popular perfume in her collection called ‘Carolina Herrera Very Good Girl’, designed for the young modern woman. This floral women’s fragrance contains notes of jasmine, sandalwood and patchouli and was released in September 2016. It comes packaged in a bottle with clean lines and curves and has become one of the most recognizable fragrances in recent years, being used in many television commercials including with models Karlie Kloss and Taylor Hill. All proceeds were donated to the We Will Foundation, supporting Women Empowerment and entrepreneurial programs dedicated to promoting innovation.
