Hannah and Mollie are great friends who met at UC Berkeley during their undergrad years. It was love at first sight, and they've been best friends for nearly 15 years, through college, first jobs, marriages, and everything in between. Their nutritional requirements evolved throughout the years, since they both became lactose intolerant in their early twenties. Their sweet craving is one thing that hasn't altered.
Mollie cooked something called banana lovely cream for dessert one day after supper. Frozen bananas with a dab of almond milk in a food processor. Hannah exclaimed to Mollie, "This is BANANAS!" after the first taste. They refer to this as their "lightning striking" moment since they quickly saw why this needed to exist in the world in a more easily digestible form. It met all of their requirements and then some: dairy-free, minimal ingredients, and really tasty.
They now sell pints, novelty bars, and sprinkles! Everything is plant-based and produced using basic, identifiable ingredients. All of their lovely cream is sweetened with natural fruit, such as dates and coconut, and is produced with either an oat milk or a banana base.
