Petr Jasek landed at Khartoum International Airport on December 10, 2015, for his return trip to the Czech Republic. But, before he could board his aircraft, he was summoned by Sudanese security for interrogation about his actions in the nation, activities that, if revealed, would jeopardize the persecuted Christians he had met. Petr understood he wouldn't be seeing his family anytime soon as the inquiries persisted and he was hauled into jail.
Petr, on the other hand, was prosecuted with several crimes, all for attempting to assist Christians who had been persecuted by Sudan's government. Petr recounts his genuine story of how God gave him strength, bravery, and a new purpose during his 445 days in jail after being sentenced to life in prison and having to share a cell with ISIS militants.
