In observance of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, the Department of Defense has designated certain partners to distribute commemorative lapel pins to eligible U.S. veterans. From the present day until 2025, my office and I hold the privilege of presenting these veterans with a token of appreciation for their military service during this period.
Veterans who served in the active duty forces of the United States Armed Forces between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of where they were stationed, are entitled to receive a lapel pin. The distribution of these pins will take place through Veterans Day in 2025. My team and I will attend scheduled ceremonies to personally present pins based on requests received.
