Revlon Inc., commonly referred to as Revlon, is a leading international cosmetic brand founded in 1932 by Charles Revision and his brother Joseph, as well as chemists Charles Lachman and Vincent Longo. Today, it offers various lines and ranges of cosmetic and hair care products distributed via supermarkets, drug stores, departmental stores and online channels across USA and internationally. The name “Revlon”, derived from Charles Revision’s last name, became synonymous with boldness, glamour, passion and excitement which was reflected in its advertising campaigns featuring famous celebrities. It has produced several iconic ad campaigns such as the "Love Is On" Valentine's Day series. One interesting fact worth noting is that Revlon was instrumental in launching Twiggy, Jean Harlow, Jackie Kennedy, Shirley Temple, Marilyn Monroe and Halle Berry into modeling or acting contracts.
